  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese

How to Make Air Fryer Parmesan Crusted Steak

Step 1: Prepare the steak

Rub steaks with oil, then season generously with salt and black pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes for better texture.

Step 2: Pre-cook the steak

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Cook steaks for about 5 minutes per side (10 minutes total) depending on thickness and desired doneness.

Step 3: Make the parmesan crust

Mix in a bowl: panko, parmesan (both types), butter, garlic, parsley, and ranch seasoning until well combined.

Step 4: Add cheese and crust

Remove steaks from the air fryer.
Add a slice of provolone on top, then press the parmesan mixture over it.

Step 5: Final air fry

Return steaks to the air fryer and cook for another 5 minutes until the topping is golden and crispy.

Step 6: Rest and serve

Let the steak rest for a few minutes before serving to lock in juices. Serve with mashed potatoes, vegetables, or fries.
